SALT Software, LLC is an intellectual property transfer company resulting from years of research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is home to the Systematic Analysis of Language Transcripts (SALT) software. The SALT Software company is dedicated to promoting the use of language sample analysis as a sensitive measure of language performance in context. The company continues to meet the needs of clinicians and researchers in the United States and around the world by creating specific analyses for investigators and working with individuals interested in creating transcription and analysis routines for languages other than English. The sale of the software provides funding for collecting normative data, creating updated versions of the software, and developing training materials.
